Creative writing Assessment

In any normal city there are normal streets and on those streets hold wonderous shops. I will be telling you about one in particular. It was a cosy room for it was only 2 meters high, and the dust filled the cracks and holes in this room. The busty brown solid poles are holding the structure securely, like friends supporting from all sides, and making sure everything doesn’t fall. 

With all the different shapes and sizes with colour bursting, fizzy bottles, flat bottles,  round bottles, square bottles. The smells oh the smells, some sweet, some that sting the hairs inside your nose. Some don’t have a smell at all, but what I did know was that this smell was creeping into everyone’s nostrils. 

The sounds I heard were bubbles popping, children chatting and laughing. The glass covering these liquids felt smooth and slightly warm. The nice air conditioner spread a blanket across you as you entered this magnificent place. The price differed between £9.99 for cheap weak potions. Really good strong potions were coming around £39.99. 

The colours are blindingly bright with the liquid about to jump out at you, they are about the size of deodorant bottles with smooth soft glass. Asking to be let out as the aggressive fizz could not wait to ooze out the bottle. 

The potions are swallowed or thrown to create a gas or a liquid. These can now be inhaled or drunk once into the lungs or the stomach. This creates an intense reaction of feeling a cold shiver up your spine then all of a sudden you are changed into whatever potion you took. You have become an animal, or invisible, or whatever you have chosen to be. However, the effects wear off in exactly 3 hours no less or no more.

My favourite potion was the invisible one because it had amazing colours and effect. It was a blue soft creamy liquid with floating orange bits in it, like body wash that you have in your bathroom near the conditioner and shampoo.

I just can’t bring myself to leave this store, but I will definitely push myself to leave. I will come back and buy more potions because the ones I tried were amazing. I felt like a million dollars when I took the ones I chose. I chose to become invisible and have a go at flying. The store is really amazing and I recommend it if you are ever in Diagon alley. The lighting is amazing the colours are outstanding and beyond that, the potions are out of this world.
