Apollo 11 Initial Response

Brief Plot This is a documentary about a successful moon landing and the process they went through to make it happen. There are three astronauts that travel in a space ship to the moon and they launched from the USA and had a successful landing and return trip back to earth.

The character that stood out and why The character that stood out to me was Bazordra as he could stay so calm in an experiment that had never happened before. I just wonder what he was thinking during this process and what he did to sustain himself. I found this very interesting as I would be freaking out.

Analysis the effectiveness / I feel it did cover the director’s intention as it was a successful film about astronauts that go to the moon and back.

Discuss the director’s intentions and do I believe they were successful in presenting this film. I feel the film was successful in how the director wanted it presented.

I feel like the camera work was very effective as they could show what the director wanted the audience to see. And picked the best parts and informative pieces from all the film all the people recorded. It was filmed in a certain way to create tension and a certain real sense.

The sound at the start of this documentary was to build tension and make the watches feel as it was a scary surreal sense and so it seemed more realistic. The way the director used the music in certain places was to create emotions and most documentaries have voice overs and this one however didn’t and this was because they wanted to keep this as real as possible.
